Karate classes at the Community Centre
Karate is a popular martial art which encourages good health, confidence, self-esteem and discipline in both the young and old alike.
Please come along and join our classes which take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 6pm, plus Saturday morning at 10am, you will enjoy it.




If you enjoy art work please come along and join us on Monday mornings from 10am to 12noon

Bridge, like many card games, is a very sociable game. It also helps your brain to continue being active by challenging you to remember and make decisions whilst playing. Did you know that Scandinavian countries consider that because of this, playing bridge is very important for all their population, paricularly the seniors? Why not come along and give it a try? A new session has been added on Friday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm

On 7pm, Friday 18th July. We have screened “the choir” in French with English subtitles.
Cost is £11.50 including a free tea or coffee on arrival. There will be an opportunity to purchase popcorn/crisps and soft drinks on the night. We begins with an introduction on the movie, the actors, etc, before the screening starts at 7:20/7:30pm. After the screening, there is material given so that people can chat in French about their thoughts, the movie, etc
